Random Generators
UUIDs, passwords, QR codes, barcodes and random sequences. Generation is easy; picking the right variant is not. UUID v4 and v7 have different index behaviour in a database, and a QR code that scans fine on screen can still fail on paper.
Everything is generated locally with a cryptographically secure random source where it matters.
- Barcode Generator and Reader
- QR Code Generator and ReaderTurn text or a URL into a QR code with adjustable size, margin, error-correction level and colors, then export PNG or SVG. You can also upload an image to read its QR code.
- Random Password GeneratorGenerate strong random passwords with a custom length and character classes, excluding look-alike characters, plus entropy and crack-time estimates.
- Random pickerGenerate random tokens, draw winners without repeats from a candidate list, shuffle it, sample by weight, or split one amount across people proportionally with the rounding remainder spread randomly — all computed locally in your browser.
- Sequence GeneratorGenerate ordered sequences by number, letter, roman numeral, Chinese numeral, weekday, month, heavenly stems, earthly branches, or your own custom list, with prefix/suffix and zero-padding.
- UUID GeneratorGenerate UUID v4 and v7 or custom random tokens, up to 500 at a time, with optional uppercase and no hyphens. Uses the browser crypto RNG.

Common questions
UUID v4 or v7 for a primary key?
v7 if the key is a clustered index — it is time-ordered, so inserts append instead of scattering. v4 if you need unpredictability.
